Join us for a peaceful morning of playing with clay. Each pottery workshop is 2hrs long and no experience is necessary! You will be guided through the process of hand building your very own unique and functional piece of homeware.
The cost of the workshop includes clay, use of tools, glazing and firing your work. Pottery takes time so once you have created your piece your instructor will glaze and fire in your choice of available colors. Please allot 3 weeks turn around time from the time of your event to when projects are ready for pick up. You will be notified via text to come pick up at Twin Rivers Local Vintage.
What you will learn: Cynthia will teach you the fundamentals of hand building through the slab building technique, taking you through the process of how to create the shape, add a handle (when applicable) and decorative options.
What you will make: A citrus juicer
What should I bring: You don't need to bring anything with you, all materials are provided, but please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty and have short nails if possible.
Cost: $65
